The NA 12 step process.
Figure its about time to evaluate myself via the 12 step process and see were i stand.
Check 1)We admitted that we were powerless over our addiction, that our lives had become unmanageable.
Check 2)We came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
Check 3)We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
Check 4)We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
Check 5)We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
Check 6)We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
Check 7)We humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
Check 8)We made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
Check 9)We made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
Check 10)We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
Check 11)We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
Check12)Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
Overall i think i have meet each of the steps. Have i verified that with anybody, no. I feel this blog is verification. In fact i didnt read about the 12 steps until the other day and decided to compare them to my blog. To my surprise i managed to manifest each step without prior knowledge of them. Some steps may be missing in the blog. Steps 8 and 9 i did carry out but did not post any info here. Steps 5 and 9 were difficult but necessary. Step 12 was meet as i posted this blog to a number of addiction forums in hopes it may help others and give them a first hand account. I am continuing to practice step 11 as often as possible.
