Nice view of Mount Si.Finally! Sleep. Didnt think it was gonna happen at first. Started getting pissed was so tired but i couldnt conk out. Then it was lights out and 10 hours later. Sleep made a huge difference. Feel much better today. Just moderate physical symptoms. Head feels kinda off and got slight shivers. Motivation is not up to par. Just wanna stay in bed all day. Only motivation to head out is a 12:00 therapist appointment. First shave in 7 days and a shower get me out the door not feelin to bad. Hard to believe just 6 days ago i thought the world was coming to an end. Now things are lookin up. First 4 to 5 days are always the worst. Things should be down hill from here.
Therapy goes well. Killer view of Mount Si from her house in its shadow. She is a nice lady and easy to talk to. Spill my guts about the drug use to her and how it changed me and the things i have lost. Its nice to talk to someone who understands its affects on people. She is surprised im doing so well after just 7 days. And so am i. Physical symptoms are almost gone. Just feel kinda crunchy and head feels kinda off. No depression or anxiety yet which really surprises me. I think the key has been laying off the alcohol. She recommends a support group and seeing a doc about anti-depressants/anti-anxiety meds.
Talked to my mom today and told her whats been going on. Had to hold back the tears. Feel bad like i let her down. She is very supportive and makes it easy. Talk with her mirrors the therapy visit. She understands. Recently a friend of hers son went thru the same thing. Back problems that lead to a addiction. Apparently he was violently sick when he withdrew. Barfing his guts out and whatnot. Feel thankful im not that bad off.
Motivation is still really low. Got things to do but cant get going if its not easy. Started eating more. Things are lookin up.
